Boxing Day

Should 12/26 be a holiday for Letterboxers?
After all it IS Boxing Day.

We could all take off work and tramp out into the December air.

Hide decorated faux boxes on the front lawn for the children.

Decorate a Boxwood tree.

Plant a box?

The Boxing Day Kangaroo (with boxing gloves) travels around to the
homes of all the good letterboxers and leaves gifts of gladware and
stamp pads.

The Boxing Fairy checks in on placed boxes throughout the world to
ensure they are dry and well-hidden.

We can sing Boxing Carols . . .
"Over the river and through the woods
at 220 degrees or so
Follow the lane with
the stone in the way,
over the fallen oak!
Oooh! > > > "

LOL! that was exactly what I needed to perk up my day. : ) and now
I"m going to have to assemble a little boxing gift for my husband of
pink stuff and tupperware. He's been wanting to practice carving.

What a joy to be a spectator for such a glorious boxing match rather
than a participant for once. =)

But in other news, I'd just like to remind everyone--despite normal
differences of opinions people have--the people on this list are
generally swell, well-meaning individuals that you'd be happy to
welcome into your home. Everyone wants what is best for this hobby
we have in common, and a difference of opinion is just that, a
difference of opinion. Let's not take any of these relatively minor
disagreements personally, and enjoy the boxing match!
